Company history

As part of a management buy-out, Managing Director Karlheinz Mohn takes over all shares in TECHNIGRAF GmbH as of October 1, 2023.

New development and construction of a UV laboratory conveyor belt dryer with inerting. Delivery of several systems, each with a radiation width of 25 cm, to customers in Europe.

As of October 1st, 2020, Dr. Hönle AG is the new majority shareholder.

TECHNIGRAF starts new website.

The new combination dryer AKTIPRINT Mini XL Duo X has been presented during the LOPEC show in March 2019 for the first time. Through the combination of long wave UV LED curing and short wave UVC curing (low pressure lamp) you will get very good results regarding to the hardening of surface and depth hardening by low engergy consumption and low load of heat.

A lot of new units and combinations dryers (LED+UV) have been developed.

From now on Mr. Karlheinz Mohn leads the middle class company into the future.

The company founders, Mr. Walter Stumpe and Mrs. Ruth Stumpe, retired. As new Managing Director Mr. Claus F. Drews has been appointed.

The new generation is more energy efficient, emits less noise and is more flexible. First exhibited during the FESPA 2010 tradeshow in Munich, Germany

Continuous further development of the AKTIPRINT M UV drying modules for new application fields.

Introduction of the new EDP processing program. Modification of our UV measuring instruments.

Exhibition of the AKTISPEED LED exposure unit at the glasstec trade show.

Cooperation with well-known OEMs in the field of UV modules. Further development of UV systems with ECGs (electronic ballasts) instead of (optional) transformer operation.

A new generation of energy-saving, metal halide lamps was the result of consistent further development of modern UV exposure technology: our AKTICOP S MH-INSTANT COPY LAMP.

Manufacturer of exposure units with movable covers for the printed circuit board industry, for example, our MONEX unit.

Expansion of the product line by introduction of various measuring instruments and manufacture of ULTRAPRINT RR contact copy units, practice-proven movable cover units, for the KLIMSCH Company in Frankfurt/Main, Germany.

Further enlargement of production floor space from 750 m² to 4,500 m².

AKTIPRINT, the first UV drying system, was the beginning of this future-oriented, UV technology. Development of UV radiation curing began and was continuously further developed.

Screen copy and drying units for large format silk-screen frames were added to the product line.

Expansion of the product line by introduction of the first AKTICOP metal halide copy lamps (with shutter system) and the VARIOCOP MH exposure units. TECHNIGRAF submitted a number of patent applications during these product developments.

TECHNIGRAF GmbH was founded by Mr. Walter Stumpe and his wife, Ruth Stumpe, on December 15, 1965. TECHNIGRAF made a name for itself within the printing industry with its Lumocop xenon impulse lamps and Lumophot xenon flash lamps for print shops. A large number of these xenon lamps were sold to the SIXT Company in Walldorf, Germany.
